Repetitive Strain Injury or RSI

http://orthoinfo.aaos.org/topic.cfm?topic=a00261

http://www.wikihow.com/Sit-at-a-Computer

One may feel that proper sitting at a computer is just common sense, however, many of us artists, who work day to day for years develop repetitive strain injuries. These injuries are painful, make working more difficult, and over time can result in surgery.  So, try and nip it in the butt before it becomes a problem by sitting properly, exercising, and stretching because being an artist is already hard enough don't complicate it with pain.

Hawken Story Teaser ITD

I am going to start tagging things on here called ITD which stands for Inspiration To Draw.  I sometimes find things on "the internet" that inspire me. Usually this is because the creators put their heart and sole into it and I think a little bit of it spills over.  Enjoy Hawken from Adhesive Games

http://www.livestream.com/danielsdangerroom

Dan Warren host a live stream channel where he paints for about 8 hours a day.  This is a classroom in itself and Dan is so willing to go out of his way to make others better artists.  He will critique work and the best part is he pulls no punches, that is, he is honest direct and takes no excuse for not practicing the basics.

Dave is a self taught artist who gives his free time to forum educate.  If you have not been to crimson daggers, stop reading this and go there now.  It humbles me to see how much he has given back to the digital art community.

Sinix

http://www.youtube.com/user/sinixdesign

I just found him on youtube and deviantart, he really has done a great job offering information on industrial design, workflow, and has great links to other tutorials. One thing to remember while watching these tutorials is that without practicing the basic fundamentals of art and design, one will become frustrated, discouraged, and possibly create some very bad habits.
